Thought of the Day 09/09/2020

God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,  Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.  But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.  Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Romans 11:2‭-‬6 KJV

We may feel alone, and that everyone and everything is against us, but the Lord is with us. He will bring us through.

We often times get wrapped up in what’s going on around us, what others are doing and or not doing, that we don’t realize that we aren’t the only ones.

Just as we were called to do a task, others were as well. They’re job might not be our job, but our Heavenly Father designed our jobs so that they work together for the good of the body of Christ as a whole.

The things we endure build our character. The foundation of our character should always be Christ. For He is where we draw our strength.

Our Father will take care of us because we are His. Our faith just needs to catch up to Who our Daddy is. He feed Elias (Elijah) and provided for him tremendously while Elias was out about our Father’s business.

We need to grow in our faith, that we will see great moves of God, in our day, “in the land of the living”.

Be encouraged and strengthen yourself in the Lord!

Blessings and Peace!
