15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

How did we ever get caught up in send it back to sender prayers?
We as the people of God have fallen in to the trap of not reading our Bibles.
The scripture above clearly says don’t do evil where evil was done. So send it back 4x or however is not of God.
Our affiliation with Jesus is our standard.
Follow me as I follow Christ is a way of life.
Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 AMP
If I don’t know what Christ says or did, how am I following Him, and why would you follow me?
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Joshua 1:8 NIV
Praying such evil prayers (harm or send it back to them) is witchcraft and not Christian behavior.
It’s witchcraft because it’s evil, and because it’s something expected outside of the will of God.
When they prayed similar prayers in the Old Testament things were different. It was a time of vengeance.
But vengeance is the Lord’s to take. We don’t need to try to move Him on our behalf. Jesus said to pray for and bless those that hate on us.
The New Testament is about grace and Forgiveness. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, whatever measure you pour out towards people will be measured back to you, and God will forgive you as you forgive others.
Everything in the New Testament screams mended ways, walking in the Holy Spirit, and loving others as you love yourself. If you love yourself, no matter what mistakes you make, you don’t wish evil upon yourself. The same applies to those around you.
Lord forgive us. We have sinned against You with such evil prayers. Forgive us for all our speech that was evil in Your sight. Show us when we sin against You that we may repent and get it right. Put Your love for others in our hearts. Order our steps and our speech in Your way and Your will.
