Obituary Poem

Do we really know you?

You come and you go, you take what you want and grow it into something unrecognizable. Beautiful or scary it's new and powerful.

The life of a man is measured by the content of his character, but weighed by the heart of God.

You progress slowly at a rapid pace and before we know it you have gone away. Not always saying goodbye. Constantly saying good morning or good night.

Filling hearts and breaking them, you are something heavily desired, and something often squandered.

Favor and blessings follow you on the path but sometimes get lost along the way. Wrong turns and mindsets distract from your beauty and tarnish your value.

Joy and laughter try to keep up but sometimes fall out of touch.

We thank God for having you, and we pray that we see more great things in you.
